of the British-Nigerian Organic Accord

The summit will aim at proffering solutions to world food
crises, especially in Africa and Nigeria in particular
2. This summit will help to mobilize the stakeholders in agriculture,
health and governance in Nigeria at all levels for national
development.
3. It will also foster international partnerships, thus promoting
exchange programme and research activities in organic agriculture,
between Nigerian and British Stakeholders and other nations.
4. The British – Nigeria Organic Agriculture Summit
will promote current and future commercial activities and
trade in all Nigerian based crops, florists, livestock, and
fisheries production.
5. The result of this meeting will be to fully realize the
potential of this crucial summit for poverty alleviation and
wealth generation.
6. Exchange programmes in health sector of the Nigerian economy.
7. Sustainable environmental protection strategies for the
British - Nigerian governments.
8. Promotion of research activities, Nigerian organic agriculture
network and capacity building roles of the Nigeria base organic
agriculture centre – OOCORD.
