The
Initiative
 Olusegun
Obasanjo Centre for Organic Research and Development, OO-CORD,
to be located in Ibadan, Oyo State, the South Western Part
of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. This initiative is in
partnership with the National Horticultural Research Institute
(NIHORT), Ibadan, a Research Institute under the Federal Ministry
of Agriculture and Rural Development, Henry Doubleday Research
Association (HDRA), the biggest Organic Research Association
in Europe, Coventry University, England and the African Leadership
and Development Centre, ALDC, England.
Memorandum of Understanding has been signed by all parties
involved and the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria has
given a formal approval for the establishment of the Centre
in Nigeria.
